Hello,

 

My name is Desislava Dineva and I am a character artist in the computer games industry. I am a graduate of the Multimedia 3D Animation diploma program at Humber College, Toronto, ON, and I am currently enrolled in their post-graduate Game Art and Design course. I have also graduated as a Fine Arts Teacher in 2006 from Sofia University, Bulgaria and have succesfully completed the five year program for a traditional artists at Ilia Petrov Fine Art School, Sofia, Bulgaria in 2002.

 

Throughout the years of my education I have acquired skills and knowledge in many different areas of arts, design, and teaching. The main areas I am specializing in are character concept art, sculpting, modeling, and texturing. I am also interested in character rigging and skinning and have some experience in both areas. I also have some basic knowledge of motion capture and working with optical data. Still, my main focus is in the area of creating memorable characters which can be used in game environment.

 

I also have several years of experience working as a graphic designer and I am currently working as a freelance graphics and portrait artist. I also teach classical drawing to private students of different age groups.
