For the record, nothing ever had its textures tested in Firefly after the Hiver (which will be the Nestor soon). I only ever made Superfly shaders after that. BUT if they work in FF that’s great! But when you’re selling stuff, you can’t guarantee it if you don’t do extensive testing.

They are the same figure with different names. I’d love to keep giving things away, but until the rest of the world goes all Star Trek socialist like me, I have to monetise my skills. My car isn’t big enough for the wife and two cats to live in, and as a programmer, LLMs have made me obsolete, so, well, the difference is about $15 and a name.

My understanding is that VP bought and renamed the Aslan figure as well as several others, and is releasing the rebranded versions thru Rendo.

As far as the joint setup, none that I've seen. Asad says it has SuperFly-specific shaders while Aslan has FireFly-compatible ones (which work fine in SF as well.)
