Somehow, I managed to miss this, Fran. It is also great for coal bin pictures. Of course, unless you were a kid growing up in the 40s or earlier, you'd know what that was. Most houses had them to feed their furnaces. They went out of use in America during the early 50s but probably somewhat later in Europe and other places. |
