Here is yet another exercise for painting with conventional lights and to fake GI. This time, a Cloister has been taken as medium for lighting. As it has a big opening in the middle, the lighting is dominant by the sunlight. The scene has 5 lights in total, one directional with raytraced shadows and 4 omnis with two of them shadow mapped. The frame has been rendered on 640 by 480 resolution which took about 2 minutes and 20 seconds on AMD DURON 900MHz with 256 MB RAM. « Less
