This scene is one of the exercises I have been doing for learning how to paint with light. The scene has been downloaded from the web and then lit and rendered using default lights and scanline renderer of 3DSMax 6 Sp1, considering Direct and indirect illumination. About 58 Omnis have been used with about 17 shadow mapped shadows. Have worked on illumination from Skylights only. Rendering took about 2:00 minutes average bearing resolution of 720 x 576 pixels, on AMD DURON� 900MHz with 256MB RAM. « Less
