anyways, THANKS a lot man for the info on wings3d!! i never checked it, dunno why, i was so certain it was a pay app, so glad it's oSource, and it works perfect! no lag AT ALL.
Wings 3D then might be worth to give it a try.
my hexagon keeps crashing with almost no polygons, sucks, can't use it. thx anyway!
These ones intentionally werde made to use them in Bryce with Boolean. I don`t think they would be of any use in DS... sorry.
a question, since i use DAZ: those, unlike the footprints, are "positive", i.e. they rag above the terrain surface, hence don't need boolean, right?
(i'll still get the "negative" ones too, which i'll try to adapt in Hexagon, where there probably is some boolean action possible...)

just can tell you how to deal with in Bryce: set a ground terrain to "solid" and "positive" and the track shape to "solid" and "negative" and then group both...
