The Story:
I've known Jessica for as long as I can remember. We were friends in elementary school, and even then, she seemed destined for greatness. She was smart, well reasoned, loved problem solving and was always seeking out justice wherever she thought it was needed. In high school, she was a member of the debate team, the Young Law Practitioners of America, and was class secretary three years running. After we graduated high school, she went on to Harvard Law, while I went to UCLA. I wasn't that big an academic, and within two years, I dropped out of UCLA and soon found a passion for photography. I eventually became a professional photographer, working freelance with many major publications and doing portrait in my at-home studio as my 9-5. I heard later on, after my own career was taking off, that Jessica had become a lawyer, working for some big firm, making six figures or better, and on tap for a junior executive position in her firm. I was quite surprised to hear this news, but none so more surprised when she showed up at my house. She looked weary, and exhausted, and looked like she had not seen her bed in the better part of two weeks. She asked to stay over, and I obliged. The next morning, she confided in me that the life of lawyer was not everything she had hoped or dreamed of. She wanted to right wrongs and do justice to disenfranchised, but her firm was on retainer to the very corporations she felt were harming the poor and the working class. She had nowhere else to turn to seek refuge from the hypocrisy she was living, so she returned home, hoping to find a new calling in her life. Now, looking at the picture, you might think, "Well, DAMN, she's hot! Why isn't model or centerfold or something?!" Well, her life hadn't taken her there. She was also very wary of those who dished out compliments, though you would need to be blind not to see how pretty she is! At 5'-5" tall, and just a smidgen over 115 lbs., she is the epitome of the hard-body. Curvaceous and well toned, she could very well be adorning billboards and TV screens. So, on a whim, I asked her if she would allow me to photograph her in my studio. She was a little wary of this at first, but I promised her that I would not leave her to my devices. I called on my wardrobe crew and they got over to my place in record time. My wardrobe crew's head, who calls herself just Aisha, took one look at Jessica and hollered, "Girl, I may be straight, but I could EASILY go gay for you!" She and her crew brought their entire wardrobe with them, and I gave Jessica an hour to find something she would feel comfortable in. two guesses as two what she came out in. And to think, this is only one of ten I would was planning to keep all to myself...
