Sneaks for the Freak. ;)
These sneakers are made from the P4 Nude Man's right running shoe, so you will need ObjActionMover to use them. You can find ObjActionMover at the following URL:
http://www.sandylodge.demon.co.uk/files/mover101.zip
The download for the shoes is approximately 496K.
This download has been tested to work in IE6 and FreeDownloadManager ( http://www.freedownloadmanager.org ).
*****README FOR XAA'S FREAK SNEAKS*****
What it is:
------------
It's a pair of conforming sneakers, made to fit the the DAZ 'Freak' character (a commercial character available at http://www.daz3d.com for about $40, for those of you who aren't familiar with him).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Because both shoes were originally made from P4 Man's right running shoe, you will also need Maz' OBJAction Mover to decode the .pcf files in this archive. The program is free, you can find it at the following URL:
http://www.sandylodge.demon.co.uk/files/mover101.zip
What you can do with it:
------------------------
1) You're free to use this prop in any render, non-commericial or commercial.
2) You may not sell the model itself, either individually or as part of a compilation.
3) If you re-post this model on your website or as part of a free compilation, the archive must include this readme file.
How to use it:
--------------
Step 1: Extract all the files in the "freak_sneaks" folder to wherever you put Freak's clothes.
Step 2: Use ObjAction_Mover to decode the PCF files. You MUST decode the PCF files or the CR2's for the shoes WILL NOT WORK! The original target for the shoes is Dork's Right Running Shoe, which you can find under :Runtime:Geometries:Poser4Clothes:Shoes:mRunShoeR.obj
Step 3: After the files have been converted, the shoes will work. Simply load Freak, load the shoes, and conform the shoes to the character. Though the shoes will fit over the toes of the character, you may need to hide the toes of the character, as with most conforming shoes.
Note: Those of you using P5 or P6 will get a warning that this was made in a "later version." Just click OK, it has been tested to work in P5, P6 and P7 just fine.
Another note: Before anyone points it out to me, yes, I know, the bone structure for the shoes is not optimized. I found that the shoes animate better when the entire bone structure is present, instead of optimized to just "shin-foot-toe" for a shoe. I think it may have to do with his joint parameters. Either way, it seemed to work better like this for him.
