This is a procedural rust shader for Carrara 7 (it should work on C6 too, but didn't tied). You will need the ANYTHING GOOS plugin for Carrara by the http://www.digitalcarversguild.com/ This shader will automatically apply some rust to any edges of an object. The size of the rust depends on the size of your 3D model, the easier way to change the size if the rust is simply entering the vertex editor, scalling your model down (for larger rust) or up (for smaller rust) and then, in the assemble room, scale it back to its original size. That will change the original 3D size of the object but will keep the original size in the scene. You can change the scale through the shader room, of course, but it's extremely tricky, so I suggest you to make it this way! ;) This is a basic version wich DON'T use the SHADER PLUS plugin for smoothing the rust edges but there is an enhanced version too here in my uploads. Feel free to use it has you wish, commercially or not. Some credits are always welcome but it's absolutly not necessary ;) « Less
