I used the advanced rigging package which is an addon to Daz sold by Daz. I learned basic reading from a sticky tutorial in the Nuts and Bolts forum.

He's great!!! How did you set up the joint parameters and rigging in DAZ? I've been tring to figure out rigging in D/S for a while, but only thought you could rig in Poser. Anyway, a way cool robot...Well Done!!!
