more »Shion, Aseska, Vass, and all the other anthro vulpines are not native to Earth. They, along with the reptilian Hux, hail from the world of Hiraaj.
The vulpines, typically referred to as the Melani, are here to stop the Hux from taking advantage of the global warming crisis.
While relations between humans, the Melani foxes, and Earth-born anthros are generally cordial, there are those humans who feel threatened by anthros of any kind. To them, anthros are a "disease."
Those are the humans Shion and her friends must also contend with at times.
In this case, Shion and Vass are about to discover one of those plots threatening their existence. They never want to intentionally bring harm to humans, so they hope to end this fight quickly with as little pain as possible.
It's a story idea I'd like to develop in the near future.
