A year after its Homecoming, the USS Voyager pursues pirates from the Orion Syndicate over the waters of an unnamed world.
In the aftermath of the Dominion War, some Maquis cells remain active. They seek independence from the Federation, leading some to ally with the Orion syndicate.
The USS Valiant depicted here is NOT the same one from the DS9 Episode "Valiant". This is an original ship design. That said, this Defiant-type vessel was commissioned near the end of the war, and named in dedication to the efforts of the original ship.
It was later hijacked from within, and some of the crew who fought back are currently held hostage.
Trek ships are in 3ds format and imported into Poser 4. Postworked (special effects and text) in Paint Shop Pro 8.
Too bad we don't have a squad of Intrepids like this patrolling the Indian Ocean, otherwise the current pirate scourge would have ended yesterday.
*****
There were textures that created a shine to Voyager, but they didn't work well in Poser, so I left them out in this render. I made Voyager's hull darker and lessened the highlight. It might not be a "spot-on" likeness.
