neither did i till i started working on my monitor... one of the modern monitor style coastal battleships used by i beleive it's the norweigans was refered to as "an Armed Lightship" because it's basic appearance was that of a lightship with gun turrets... here's a link for reference and pics.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightvessel
