You can still see the influence from old horse carriages. Thanks a bunch!

Phyllis Diller used to ride in this old cars.
She talks about it in the movie: Who Killed the Electric Car. Thank you!

PS.I love your me-camera script. Have you ever updated it? Or have any plans updating it?

Electric car sound? None but the tires on the pavement. I built one and learned back in 2000. Yes, they are interesting (Chinese definition). Electric cars will be practical when fuel cells become cheap and practical. Otherwise, the battery pack costs twice-plus as much to replace as the gas you'll burn in three years. The bi-weekly mandatory 3-plus hours of battery maintenance can kill you

1910 Detroit Electric, nice. Didn't know people still thought about those old things, nice.

And another example of an electric-car sound in this short clip:

Incidentally, there's a nice sequence of a lady driving a Detroit Electric in this movie:

About 10 minutes into the movie, as I recall. Includes sounds of door closing, tiller clicking, and motor, which might be usable in an animation.

One of life's ironies. We could build an electric car 100 years ago but it's impossible today. Great model and reminder!
