This is a reduced size version of a piece inspired by my long held fascination with the notion that humans create systems modeled off of a combination of internal and external processes that exist in the seen and unseen worlds that encompass our reality. The title "Memetic Engineering" is used to discern that within the piece there are multiple forces acting latently upon the mind from within and without. I'll spare all a more thorough explanation. This piece consists of a frame from an animation of a character I created in Poser, hence the interlacing, that was taken into Z-brush to add the various "connections" then into photoshop where various sub elements created earlier in both Poser and Z-brush were added (gnarled circuit-tree), (stairwell from the "Pad" from poser 7 with the character on it),(flaming wall thing) and various other abstract objects I created and an open source networking map template. I've always liked things that were somewhat challenging for people to accept visually or that could be considered good and yet be comprised mainly of flaws. The other work I posted was kind of haphazard, this took me some time. « Less
