Here she is... a work horse of WW2... the Universal Carrier (also known as the Brengun Carrier) was used by just about every Allied nation of WW2 and even used in rare cases by the Germans after being captured. The Bren Carrier was a lightly armoured, open hulled track used mainly to haul supplies and infantry to and from battle areas.... but it also under went it's share of experimental and field modifications. Known as the "Wasp" it carried a flame-thrower. It also carried at various points a 3in mortar, 2 pounder A/T gun, Vickers MG, and from the Germans (on captured versions) a 37mm Pak gun and a triple Panzerschreck A/T rocket mount! In my model, the Bren Carrier is armed with a Vickers .303Mg and the Brengun has been removed which was a fairly common field modification. On top of its standard uses as an MG and infantry carrier, the Universal Bren Carrier was also used as a Gun-tractor and ammunition carrier for artillery units all across the Allied armies. Variants were produced in Canada, The United States, Australia, New Zealand, and even China... with the origional design being British. After the war, the Bren Carrier also saw production by the Swiss and in the Netherlands as well, and was so successful that it stayed in use through to the 1960's! Included: Obj's for Brengun carrier, cargo, sandbags, tools, an engine, and trackblur prop. Cr2's for all of these items, and US Olive Drab textures for all plus alternate textures for the British North-Africa campaign against Romel, and Canadian regiments in Europe with mat poses to load these alternate textures! Features: The model is detailed inside and out, and features an engine hatch that opens, and the turret and weapons mounts can be trained and elevated! This set also includes a set of comforming props which add the proper engine, tools and cargo! I've also included mat poses to allow you to change the paint scheme from US Olive drab, to British Desert pattern from the North-African campaign and also a Canadian scheme, plus a conforming track-blur prop that parents to the tracks of the vehicle to give it a sense of motion (i haven't figured out how to model poseable tracks yet... lol). « Less
