What it is:
------------
This is a presentation case (figure) containing several props, including a .455 Webley Mk 1. Also included is a six-round "loaded" prop parented to the webley prop, a single loose round, an oil-bottle, and a cleaning rod. You can load the box, then load a character, position the gun appropriately on the character, parent it to them, then save it to the props library for later use. Unfortunately, I did not make the weapon prop, so the gun does not open - a project for another day.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This item REQUIRES Poser 5 or higher, because it makes use of Poser procedural textures on the model. If you try to use this in earlier versions of Poser or in DAZ Studio it won't work, you'll have to re-texture the whole thing, you'll be screaming and cursing and crying and tearing your hair out, it'll be a horrible experience that will likely leave lasting mental scars. To spare you that kind of trauma, I'm warning you now - this item REQUIRES Poser 5 or higher, because it makes use of Procedural Material Nodes.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: THE GUN IS A PROP! It's the presentation case that's the figure. Also, there are extra material zones on the outside of the box you can use to make up your own little lablels. Like maybe a bronze plaque announcing whose gun it is, or something.
What you can do with it:
------------------------
1) You're free to use this model in any render, non-commericial or commercial.
2) You may not sell the model itself, either individually or as part of a compilation.
3) If you re-post this model on your website or as part of a free compilation, the archive must include this readme file.
How to use it:
--------------
First, extract this archive to your Poser runtime directory. The files will fall into the following directories:
The presentation case will appear under Runtime:Libraries:Character:Weapons:Webley Mk 1
The textures will appear in folders under the texture folders.
After you've installed the files, open Poser. Load the presentation case - it will appear with all the props attached, for you to move, rotate, parent and re-save to the library however you wish.
