Please remember that back in 2010 DAZ Studio 3 was the latest version, and there was no DS native format for props/figures. So props/figures for DAZ Studio were almost always Poser PP2/CR2 files.

1) The Poser 6 Material Collections (Poser Formats > Materials) only work in Poser.*
2) The DAZ|Studio Material Presets (DAZ Studio Formats > Materials) only work in DAZ Studio.

I see. The only individual model in the package (i.e. not a scene with multiple objects) is a Poser model. And I was using that individual model. But I was trying to use the Daz Studio material settings .dsa things to apply the materials to that Poser model. What I needed to do for the Poser model was use the Poser type material option files that are filed under "Pose" in the Poser view more …

Materials options don't work in Daz Studio 4.11.

I try switching between plain and painted, but nothing happens. It just stays painted all the time. I don't even get an error message about a wrong path. Just nothing changes.
