I know it's been a bit since I released a model, at least in comparison to my normal model creation speed. However, I hope this will help make up for the wait.
I'm releasing two entirely new models and one that is a variation on an older model.
The end table is based on a table found pictured on one of the frescos in Herculaneum. The Hand Mirror is based on one from Pompeii. The lampstand is a design I came up with based again on one found in pompeii.
The hand mirror would have been made of silver and this design is a slightly simpler version of a very common design of the period. I could have done the additional swirls, but I discovered that I
had to decimate what I made before it would show up properly on Daz 3.0. The tabletop lampstand was very useful in the ancient world. One of this kind would be portable
and able to placed on furniture such as a table or a desk. It would be typically made of bronze and one this small was made in order to save space in a room which was more important to the less wealthy families.
The end table is one of the simpler designs found in Herculaneum. Herculaneum was a major Roman resort city comparable to modern Miami before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on the 24th of August, 79AD (I refuse to use the other dating term) destroyed both Herculaneum and Pompeii.
Most of the actual furniture found there was too fancy for the average home outside of the Italian peninsula. So, I hope this proved informative. Enjoy the models.
I give you the redistribution rights as long as you don't try to prevent me from distributing the models. I want to see these models used so please use them for both commercial and non-commercial use. Feel free to place them in bundles of roman objects or whatever you want. I'd love to be informed when you do so, since then I will be able to have the pleasure of seeing my work spread. But if you are too busy that's fine with me. These models were
tested in Poser 7 and Daz 3.0

Thanks for the silver mirror, very useful against a Gorgon lurking in the region of Rome.
