I've been using this water plane for quite a while now. it is the main water I use in Daz Studio, most realistic of easy props. I don't know what the others were thinking. This one is fantastic. Thank you for making it available.

This looks great. Where was the updated version posted (reposted)? Just downloaded it and ran into the same missing .obj problem. Was trying to help a new DS user asking about water planes and found this -- hoping to figure out how to use it because it looks like it's just what he needs. Thanks.

If you people would stop your complaining you will see where it was redone and reposted in the past few days. Why dont you try making something.

I don't need this prop but happened to stumble on it while searching for something else and midnightrider doesn't understand the file format.

I don't know why midnightrider is arguing - the file speaks for itself. It contains no geometry and is not standalone. If you don't already have this OBJ and JPG file, it will not work. No Poser file contains image data - it always more …

Yes, I too tried to use this and it said it could not find WPFP1.obj, and fantasy-pool.jpg, and failed to load. Bummer, because it looks like a great water texture.

when useing FBX to export a texture file is not needed, and I have all rights

midnightrider; OBJs are required when ever the PP2 has a call for an external obj file, such as yours does. Also, when packaging a file that calls for a texture then the texture needs to be included also as not everyone knows how to edit the files to remove/replace the called upon texuture (also, make sure you have the rights to post any said textures).
As far as Poser vs D/S; they both call files

These work fine others are useing it without a problem. As stated it''s a simple prop based on a pp2 format. No obj file is needed for that, and as far as my PC goes I dont have the obj file either. These work fine others are useing it without a problem. As stated it''s a simple prop based on a pp2 format. Alas, I tried this today on D/S 3A and it doesn''t work as is. Even in Studio, the file is searching for a missing obj. I am afraid Daimio is right.Alas, I tried this today on D/S 3A and it doesn''t work as is. Even in Studio, the file is searching for a missing obj. I am afraid Daimio is right.

No geometry or texture files. Midnightrider, these files only work on your computer because you have the required files already in your runtime

This is a pp2 based prop for Daz Studio. Sorry there is no object file. It doesnt work in Poser, but once loaded into Daz Studio it can be found in the props directory as Fantasy Pool.
