Trans & Texture Maps for 3dsc Friar Mike Made Dynamic (with corrected Read Me) == A 3-part package with Part 1 at 44.2 MB, Part 2 at 45.6 MB, and Part 3 at 36.5 MB. == All of the transparency and texture files in this package have UNRESTRICTED USAGE rights. == I’ve been playing around with turning object files of conforming clothing into dynamic clothing in the Poser Eight Cloth Room. Some work better than others. The free 3dsc Friar Mike Tunic at http://www.jalberts.net/francemi/3dSC/medieval.htm seems to work fine after a few little tear-aways and splits are hidden with a transparency map. == This 3-part package contains: Part 1: A jpg texture that is green with a gold “ovals” trim and two Gray Scale jpg transparency maps for the tunic. Both trans maps hide problems around the edge of the neck and at the bottom edges of the sleeves. One also hides a little split at the bottom of the skirt thus making the skirt about ¾ length. Part 2: Two jpg textures which are beige with a darker beige solid trim and purple with a gold solid trim. Part 3: Gray versions of the two trims, on transparent backgrounds, in RGB psd files and a gray RGB jpg tunic texture with NO trim. These gray trim and tunic files can be colored separately, mixed and matched, and used with your choice of the two transparency maps. == They were made with the free UVMapper program and the free GIMP photo program. The resulting files were used and rendered in Poser Eight. A free woven material by HoboBo at http://www.sharecg.com/pf/HoboBo was used in the tunic texture. The renders contain the free holly made by Underdog at underdog@fantasy3d.com and Andy from Poser Eight. == The Read Me contains instructions on how to color and combine the trim and tunic files in order to make a complete texture for the 3dsc Friar Mike Tunic. It also contains instructions and how to fit the tunic to Andy (or other characters) and how to adjust the Poser Material Room settings. == ENJOY! == Merry Christmas! Happy Honaker!
