Can any resident or passing historians confirm that the SS used separately-stamped jerrycans, as depicted?

I can beleive that they did, as they did with much other equipment, but it does seem to create a logistical nightmare. "Stand aside, this is SS water!"

Would there have been separate and dedicated jerrycans for Heer, Marine and Luftwaffe as well?

Not so strange...

... Great model and a very useful item at any WWII render. Thank You !

Hi. Thanks for the comments. I came across several forums that said the Germans used ordnance tan, ordnance grey and ordnance green for jerry cans. I thought the green was strange too but decided to include a green version anyway.

For those not well versed in WWII parafernalia :
these German model jerrycans were used for either petrol/gas (Kraftstoff) or water (Wasser), the latter ones usually being covered with extra markings for easy distinction.
Sand yellow and steel grey were standard colours but I do have some doubts about using olive green, a typical enemy colour.
