***UPDATED 9MAR11*** This is primarily a low resolution Poser/DAZ Studio chess set designed to be used as background filler. It is sufficiently detailed for moderate close-ups, but is not intended to be be the main focus of an image. The Poser prop (pp2) files with all 32 pieces on the board and empty trays has 12,587 faces (or 7,263 if you close the drawers and delete the empty trays). The pp2 with all the pieces in the trays has 4,525 faces. The full/empty trays are parented to the drawers, which are parented to the box. The seperate chess pieces (but not those in the full trays) are also parented to the box. Thus the box can be moved, scaled and rotated and everything will stay correct in relation to it. All parented items can be moved independently with respect to the box. The .obj files are now part of the Poser/DAZ Studio package, and .mtl files are no longer provided. (N.B. The OBJ files are scaled down to Poser sizes, so you should scale up by a factor of 100 for use in other applications). Modelled in Blender 2.49b, tested with Poser 6 and DAZ Studio 3.1 Please let me know if you have any problems with this model - I'll do my best to resolve them.
