You're welcome! :-) Xan, it kind of is a memorial -- to my dad, although he wasn't a western sheriff and I don't have waist length hair. :-))) Thanks for commenting -- I appreciate your encouragement. SleepyD -- you're welcome, and thank you for commenting. :-) Jan

Thank you for sharing!

Wow. I love this. It can be a great touching memorial irl or a prop for a story. Thank you!!

Thanks, Lady Tash! :-) The contest was no big thing though. Just a freebie contest that I was asked to participate in, a couple of months ago. Those are fun, but they're time consuming. And it led to the making of my first prop set, which I enjoyed very much. Looking forward to doing more of these! :-) Anyhow, thanks very much for the compliment! :-) Jan

Once again, Jan...you blow me away with your modeling :) To bad about the DAZ contest, but I surely understand.
Jan (13 years ago)Inappropriate?
This render was originally done for a DAZ contest that I withdrew from (long story) -- but I thought it made a better promo for Resting Place than the tiny thumbnail! :-))) Thanks for the comment, JBL -- I wanted to list the render credits, since so much of that stuff is free, and you gave me a chance to do it! :-) Jan

Shirt (Wanted DOA, converted for V4); guns free at Renderosity; hat free (here), Mars hair (Google it and it'll pop up -- free); gunfighter poses at Renderosity -- free; boots by Swam -- free on Swam site. Everything else in in the Resting Place set, I think...texture credits for Resting Place listed in ReadMe. :-)

Thank you! :-) I put those Photoshop brushes to work on the textures. :-) Credits for render...PD Rosalie (free at Renderosity); flowerpot free here, by Maria, I think; Barefoot in Bluejeans (Jan019 -- here. Textures may need to be applied manually...not sure.) Mathias (commercial character) is "the sheriff," -- that's why he's only on the demo map.

You're welcome! :-)))

Kind of a strange set but...well, my muse was in a strange mood at the time. ;-)

Thanks for the comment!

Thank you, honey. :-) I appreciate the nice comment -- very sweet of you to make it! I feel like my reply is inadequate but...you know what's unsaid. :-))) Thanks for all the support, past and present. Jan

Thanks, Jan. And hugs, also.

Continued -- So, to soothe my worry about copyright infringement, I made my example map a "demo only." To put your own photo on the generic material map, for rendering purposes, layer it on top of the white space on the generic map, save, and reapply the texture. Or layer a photo on the final render in a paint program, if that's easier. Thanks!
Jan (13 years ago)Inappropriate?
Oops...I left out the map with my "photo" in the first upload. It's not the default but it can be applied manually. This is really meant to be a "make your own" memorial stone though. :-)
