I guess it's anyways a trade off between high detail and render speed/computer memory. And I don't have all the answers but it is very cool of you to try an experiment. If it does not look good then you can still use your original ones that do...Thanks for your efforts and great textures!

I can try making the image size smaller once I have finished creating the textures. Don't know how they will look once rendered but will try that for the set I am working on now.

I love your textures for the 1930's and I have downloaded them all. Trouble is I'm now up to nearly 1GB of textures for this one dress. That's a lot of storage space. Any way you can shink the size of your jpegs to make your files a bit more computer system friendly?
