An area rug/carpet. It's sized to approximately 5'x9'. A regular on the DAZ forums mentioned she needed a rolled up carpet for a project. I had seen one, somewhere, but couldn't remember where, so instead of spending a long time searching, I threw this together. It didin't take all that long to do, but playing around with different textures and options took much more time than I should have spent on it...I was having too much fun to stop. There is a flat version and a rolled up version. The texture on the promo is a single color with bump and displacement maps applied. The bump is in the package and is applied. The pump is a simple noise pattern, done in grayscale. I used the same map for both...one or the other would be fine, but there seems to be a bit more 'depth' when both are applied. The rolled up version is the same mesh, but rolled into a cylinder. No, they don't use the same UV maps, but both templates are included. I also included a rough specular map, which is plugged in, in the promo pic. It's based off the bump map, so the same areas are not only giving 'height' variations, but specularity is changing, too. This provides some nice texturing, making it look more 'rug' like. « Less
