Poser file and an OBJ mesh, with a rain effect texture to layer into your scenes.  Includes two shades of rain texture, 3 levels of transparency.

To get the effect you want, I recommend that you test each of the rain textures - rain_Blueish, and rain_Whiter, and then play with the 3 different levels of transparency texture (FAINT, MED and SOLID).
Also try adjusting the texture Diffuse color - Full white will give you an easy to see effect, whilst a medium/darker grey will give you a more subtle look.  

Also experiement with the yScale to stretch the rain out into a more streaky effect.
