oh 1 more thing, the background have some blue..maybe if you could a bit blue to a light would do the trick better :)

no problem, it's ok :) look at my Beowulf for Bryce scene (the wireframe screenshot) to see , there are spotlights (with discrete lights) for the dragon and the 4th is the sun.hope i did it well to fit the dragon to the environment.

Thank you for the feedback! I think I'll try that. I was also never satisfied with the background. Just didn't come together the way I wanted. I'll post an improved version. :)

nice but with 2 discret spotlights on the laterals might make the scene more realistic.It's winter, it's snow, and the snow is highly light reflective and all the snow/winter scenes are a bit brighter.:) in my opinion
