Ha, ha, someone actully remembers Dr. Asimov; obsolete since P. K. Dick´s ¨Do androids dream of mechanical sheep? ¨, a.k.a. Blade Runner.

You'll need the latest version of Daz Studio which is 4.5, it's available for free on the Daz website.

Import the .obj at 100%, it's been exported at full scale. Convert the object geometry to Sub-D then go under the edit tab to edit>object>Transfer_Utility

Set Source:Genesis and Target:Robot and then click accept.

Go to the scene tab and delete the Genesis figure and the more …

What are you using to get it to work with the Fit To option in the Parameters tab? Which import setting do I need to turn on, and which ones should be turned off when importing the Robot into the scene? What tools do I need to use to make it conform to the Genesis poses? I found the correct import scale but there is no way to fit the product to any figure. I'm working with DS4.5 Pro.

I followed your instructions to the letter. The robot does not appear to be there. I see it's name in my scene tab and the shaping, surfaces and parameters tab' however it appears to be invisible and the opacity setting is at full 100%. Information is needed to get it to be visible. What scale does the import need to be in?

Fantastic! If the Genesis Figure rigging works well with this, I'm fixing to have some fun! Thanks a bunch!
