How to create Low Poly People that can be animated. How to reduce your scene file by 50 times! (approx and depending on models). More detail at http://www.facebook.com/scififunk

In part 2 we look in detail why I've come to this conclusion, (why this is the best plan for animating low poly people if you are a Poser / Daz person).

The technique requires several cheap plugins/ 3rd party utilities and some basic modelling skills (depends on how ambitious you are).

This system is not suitable for close ups (but ok for semi-close ups if the figures are moving around a lot), and is not suitable for talking characters.

It excels at distance shots where lots of independently moving figures are required. i.e. You are an independent 3d animator on a limited budget looking to do a mass population scene. « Less
