The Simple Poser WorldBall ( http://www.sharecg.com/v/69279/view/11/Poser/Simple-Poser-WorldBall ) allows you to easily add your own environment sets, but how do you create them?

This PDF (10 pages) explains how I'm doing it using three free programs:

• Terragen Classic v0.9.43 ( http://planetside.co.uk/products/terragen-classic )
• GIMP ( http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ )
• HDRShop *Version 1 - ( Link from here http://www.hdrlabs.com/tools/links.html - NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

The Terragen procedure is so simple that I've included steps that a novice should be able to follow. The same goes for HDRShop. But although the basic 'what to do' in GIMP is quite easy, you need some knowledge of 'how to do it' in GIMP - I haven't included novice instructions for this.

However, if enough people would like me to include more detail...
