This is NOT a clever automated way to create a vertical cross cubemap from six separate cubemap images. I'm sure there's programs out there that do it for you, but I haven't found one that I could get to work! (If you know of a free one please let me know!)
But if you've got plenty of time on your hands, don't get bored easily, and are a bit of a masochist, then this could be just what you need!
N.B. You template is scaled to use 960x960 renders, because that's the largest square render you can do with the free version of Terragen Classic. If you want to use different size renders you can scale everything appropriately.
The first couple of times it's rather error prone and irritating. But once you get the hang of it it becomes quite easy.
In fact, if you need to practice staying calm, focussed, and concentrated then it's absolutely perfect!
