I can fully understand theree being a limit to providing backward compatability, but seeing as G2F is 'just' a extra-polys feminized Genesis (GROSS over-simplification and probably very wrong!) and Genesis 'understands' V4 and M4 textures 'out the box' it does seem a trifle strange to do such a sudden abandonment. What I can't understand is why there are no templates (that I can find) for gen 2 to even create new textures, if there are none then this is a step back, she's beautiful but a real upclass diva!!! (money,money,money, drives it all!)

The more people fall away, the more DAZ will begin to understand that features like compatibility with Gen4 UVs is more than just a nice thing to have. We had this feature with Genesis. I am still waiting to hear, on balance, how V6 is anything more than a step backward.

Pretty much for each person to decide for themself. I am still a bit on the fence, though leaning gently toward the plus side.
