How to convert your 3D clothing to look like it's hanging on a washing line in Low Poly. Includes pegs and washing line. More at http://www.facebook.com/scififunk

In part 2 we look at how to make a clothing model Low Poly. This is essential as you are going to need a lot of these models (replicated) in a scene if it is to look realistic.

At least 5 to 6 items are needed per washing line, and you'll need at least 8 washing lines for a little tower block of apartments. So you see it can soon add up, and space (file size) becomes important.

Using the techniques I show you the final file size is just 10 percent. Yes just 10 to 15 percent of the original file size. Unless you really study it the two models will look identical - certainly for moving images you wont notice the difference.

I hope you'll come back in part 3 where I show the final scene with all its replication and space saving (and variation) in place.
