Using an image as a reference is not "ripping". A vast majority of tutorials will show you how to use reference images to build a 3d model from schematics because that's how 3d modelling is done. "Ripping" is when there is no modelling involved at all, a program is used to extract geometry data from a computer game and converted it to common file formats. |

I tried the .lwo file in Lightwave and it is a good model. I'm not sure why you're saying 'ripping?' |
