This is a .duf cone prop (bottomless, unlike DAZ Studio's default primitive) with a set of transmapped textures designed to mimic light rays through dust and particulates, also called "godrays."  It works best when you aim a spotlight directly down from the point end, or parent it to a spotlight. 

This is a faster alternative to volume cameras that still lets you render the object in your scene rather than doing postwork.  Please feel free to reverse engineer it, look at the shader, and make your own transmaps and presets.  Just don't re-release it unaltered and claim it as your own.
