A neo-classical piano stool, inspired by victorian stylings, with tufted plush cushion and intricate spiral woodwork. This model is available as a .max scene file, and compatible with 3dsmax 2012 or higher. It's also available in several scaled .obj file formats, for importing into other applications like Blender, Poser, or Daz-Studio. The model has been UVunwrapped, and comes complete with detailed texture maps for all parts. Maps are provided in maximum JPG format, at a resolution of 2048x2048, suitable for close-up rendering. Textures include maps for the diffuse color, specular, glossy, and bump material channels. The glossy map is intended for use with glossy (blurry) reflections, and combined with the bump map, make for a more realistic wood and fabric material. All preview renders were created using the same maps provided with the model. Seamless procedural materials will also work fine on this model, and can be used in place of the provided texture maps if necessary.
This model is intended for high resolution rendering and visualization, and may not be suited for real-time game engines, without some geometry optimization. The object contains a total of 42,566 polygons, and 43,022 vertices. The model is 99% quad polygons, and only 32 triangles. There are no polygons in this model that exceed 4 sides.
*All preview renders were made with the Octane render engine, using the same maps provided. Please review the special instructions for OBJ import.
You are free to use or modify this model as you see fit for your own projects or scenes. As with all my freebies, this model can be used for both commercial and non-commercial renders. You may NOT, however, resell these objects, or any derivative of them; individually, or as part of a package/set.
*** OBJ users: The POSER-specific OBJ version was exported with a scale conversion that should load with the appropriate scaling into Poser 9 and above. To ensure proper import into Poser, BE SURE to DE-select all check box options boxes in the Import Options dialogue. DESELECT the "Centered", "Place on Floor", "Percent of Standard Figure Size", etc. options in the import dialogue box after you select the poser .obj file, and then the object should load with correct scale into the scene. In DAZ|STUDIO, simply choose the Poser-scaled .obj version, and import with Poser Preset option from the import dialogue box. BLENDER users, obviously, choose the Blender scaled .obj to import. All other software applications may use the standard OBJ version. « Less
