A simple wall-mount torch which actually casts light if rendered with IDL engaged in P9/PPro2012 or later.  For best results, also use a (weak) point light high within the flame.  You can use it in P5 through P8/PPro2010, but you'll need to delete the "emitter" prop, and it won't cast light.  I don't know whether it is compatible with P4/PP.

This was just made as a tutorial proof-of-concept prop, but it is useful as a filler detail for scenes, so I packed it up.

If you want to use it as a hand-held torch, just set the metal material to be transparent (remember to set specular/highlight value to zero, too).

     If someone needs an animated version, let me know;  I'm pretty sure that I have animated texture and displacement maps for the flame.
