DAZ Database Tamer v1 was created out of frustration with the built-in DAZ Studio® Content Manager. After a long wait and many requests by users version 2 has been built for use with DAZ Studio® v4.6+ that has the PostgreSQL database for DAZ Studio® installed and running. Benefits to using DDTv2 are:
01. Select single or multiple categories to copy to a different category.
02. Cut and Paste single or multiple categories.
03. Delete non-empty categories.
04. Delete a parent and all it's child categories with one click.
05. Rename categories.
06. Create custom categories.
07. Create a Backup of the Content database.
08. Restore the Content database from a Backup.
09. Create duplicate entries for content in different categories.
10. Create categories from installed Products.
11. Check for DDTv2 updates. and more.
You can run this at the same time as DAZ Studio. If you make any changes with DDTv2 with DS open, right-click on Categories in the Content Library in DS and select Refresh. If DS is not running, the next time you run it, any changes made in DDTv2 will be reflected in DS. If you make changes inside DS while DDTv2 is running then all you need to do is click on Refresh Data.
This is shareware, and has a 14 day trial. Registration costs $7.95.
Please note: It only works for DAZ Studio 4.6+ with the PostgreSQL database for DAZ Studio® installed AND working.

Don't. It's really frustrating, the software works and is really usefull for the 14-day-trial, but after buying it via Paypl I got an (probably automatically generated) invoice with reg-key that doesn'T work.

Faster load time on populating and refreshing the categories tree and products tree as there were users with large amounts of data.

So if you downloaded a previous version and get a message stated the beta trial is over please download and install the new version.
DAZ Studio will function properly even after using DIM to install PostgreSQL. You have to extra steps to actually get the data transferred to PostgreSQL from ValentinaDB. This thread from the DAZ forums may help:
