I made the impossible version of this but have decided not to post it... it works but it isn't that good to be honest.. I have a couple of renders of it I will post it in the art section.

Since Escher's illusions were 2D, perhaps you can show us the rendering. I've tried to reproduce some of his works in 3D also, but again, Escher's work is 2D so all I've been able to do is create the illusion with the correct camera angle and then render it. :D
