(I guessed (wrongly) that you were going to split the model into top/bottom halves, rotate the top, and then fiddle to make the columns line up. That might still be worth a try...)

Some more deformation of the upper story may still get the pillars "straight" seen from this angle. That is what Escher did in his work: stretching the perspective to fit.
