First design concept for Monique Defleur aka the superheroine Strawberry Ecclipse from the series of books: The Butterfly Dragon. Monique works as a model at West Meet East International, a fashion house started by Heylyn Yates (a Chinese immigrant to Toronto, Canada aka Ai Yuanlin Ying aka The Butterfly Dragon). Heylyn hires Monique for a photo shoot, then offers her a full time position as a way to mentor the younger Monique onto a different path.
