Did you install into the DAZ Studio folder and not in 'My Library'? Are you using DS4.8?

I temporarily deleted the folders you mentioned, and it still worked.

When I open the model in Daz3D, I get an error that the following could not be found:

/runtime/libraries/Character/Morphography/7 Segment Display.cr2
/Runtime/Geometries/Morphography/7segmentDisplay.obj
/Runtime/Geometries/DeepRed/JVC VCR/JVC VCR.obj

Not sure why but there is no "7 Segment Display.cr2" and "7segmentDisplay.obj" in the ZIP file. Plus "JVC more …

Good guess, but it's actually VHS - JVC invented the VHS format in the first place. It is from the same period though, and it has the same sort of vibe too.
