Just playing around and doing unusual things with usual models. I liked this vaulted ceiling* and I wondered what it would look like duplicated and turned upside down.

When I'd got the two halves adjusted to sort of fit together I did some parenting and scaling (I was initially thinking Mountains Of Madness,  cyclopean masonry), added a diffuse IBL (my Worldball/Mars... my thoughts turned to Arrakis, something sandy rather than polar), cranked up bump and displacement, added some Sardauker with piffleguns and bazonkas, added a sandy groundplane, replaced the groundplane material with one of bagginsbill's BBOcean shaders, removed the soldiers, added a naked lady, decided that was too sexy (!  ;o) and gave her a bikini instead...

et voila !

Extra images are just annotated Poser 9 screenshots - really just in case anybody want's to play with similar ideas.

*if anybody's interested it's the 'Crypta_Ceiling' figure from Jack Tomalin's 'Crypta Sepultus' at DAZ, which my alter-ego with the wallet picked up in the days of the original PC, when I could afford 0.89¢   ;o)
