Sailor Suit for M4 -- Dynamic clothing for Poser's Cloth Room
This consists of two garments; a pair of bellbottom pants, and a sailor's pullover top.
There are some special notes you will need to know.
1. Load and simulate the ***pants*** first. Reset the simulation to the first frame, -then- load the top, clothify it, and make sure that the top's "Collide With" settings include both itself and the pants. Then, re-run the simulation.
2. There will very likely be some interpenetration of the mesh of the top and the pants, and between the top and it's collar. There are a few ways to cope with these.
For the top and pants problems, the solutions are a bit easier:
First, you can choose the colors of the top and pants to be the same; making such interpenetration unseen.
Second, you can use the morph tool to push the pants down under the top, or pull the top up over the pants, in those place.
3. The issues with the collar are a bit harder. I have set the main collar piece to be "Soft Decorated" for the Cloth Room. This helps (but does not entirely resolve the issue), but the collar will tend to be stiffer and less 'active' in the sim. You -may- remove the collar from the Soft Decorated definition, but while it will move better, it will also interact with the rest of the shirt more. You will have to decide which will work better for your particular goals.
4. I have included a large number of material settings, to provide color for the top, collar, and pants. While these are meant to resemble naval uniforms, I do *not* vouch for the authentic reproduction of any actual regulation uniform of any of the world's nations. These are purely artistic versions. Ie., Use as "Historical reproductions" at your own risk.
I also have a plain .obj file, as well as UV maps available with this set.
(Note: If you have Marvelous Designer, I will also be posting an MD version, which will include a neck-scarf. The scarf just wouldn't work at all in Poser Cloth Room tests, so I didn't include it with this file.) « Less
In another message you spoke of being open to suggestions. I'll tell you the first thing I did after Josef slipped into those bell-bottoms was try to get him into your more …
I am still planning some sailor's caps to go with these, (but I see you already have one, Mack22!).
