I was intending to do aan hommage to Draper's Lament for Icarus, one of the great Victoorian romantic paintings... then I got to thinking, why is Icarus always portrayed in  such tranchuil melancholia? After all, plummeting from the sky is hardly a serene passtime!

So, I did an experiment... same figure, same basic pose,  same skybox,  just altering the camera angle/DoF,  hand pose and face... and we get some hugerly contrasting moods!  Hope you like at leat one of them.

CS2 Postwork in the first image to add the loose feathers (thanks to dolliefelsh-stock for the brushes)... I tried to do it with feather s from the DAZ V4 creature wings but  DS3 didn't like it and wouldn't render them correctly.  The other images are DS3 straight renders.
