This one converts Poser Material Files (MC6) to Pose-Material Files (PZ2).
No Installation needed. Just unpack and start.
You can select the material folder by clicking the clicking the "Select MC6 Solder" Button, oryou type or paste/Copy the folder Path into the area right to the button.
When MC6 files are found, they are listed and their number is given.
You can choose wether you want to convert to a figure material od pros material.
Then just click "Start".
The new files are saved with the new file extension into that given folder.
This program is written with Lazarus!
Some informations on mt5, mc6 and pz2:
Materials can be used on props and figures. but they are handled in diffrent ways. So there have to be a not inside the material file.
You can choose the behaviour of the program, usually the "Keep Setting" shold work nice.
But keep in mind, that mt5 and mc6 material files can include information for procedual shaders that are special for poser and can't be dealed by Carrara or Studio.

I was investigating on this WIN 10 issue. I always use the recent Lazarus version. Good to know it runs.
P.S. works on my Win10 machine
Thanks so much for making this available. With the move of RDNA to DAZ I picked up a lot of stuff super cheap. But it turned out a lot of the items used mc6 or mtl5 files and I was wondering how I was going to use them.

I worked a bit upon the program. You may have another look on the informations on the right side.
I can NOT get it to work with MT5 files, is there something "special" of "different" I need to do to convert MT5 files with this utility?
Thanks again for this utility - it is VERY generous of you. I am using the latest version.
It's now: Unrestricted use.
Ok for you?
