Again, I'm tweaking things for future projects. This is something I've been trying to beat up for a while, and I just couldn't get anywhere. Finally I found a way to fit a mertail to Star! by Littlefox. And I'm sharing it with you. You will absolutely have to have the Aiko 3 Lost Realms mertail by DAZ 3D for this to work. 

Instructions:

Because of *** autofit, fitting the cr2 to Star! doesn't want to work without the tail losing all of its morphs and bones. At least, not for me. (I'll learn how to remove those morph clones eventually.) 

To get the tail to fit, I exported Star as a Poser 9 cr2 and fit the tail onto that. Triax schmiax; it keeps breaking the rigging dang it.

I'm also including the poser cr2 of the tail. That fits Star just fine in poser, although I have to tell it to move the hip up by a bit.

Once you have the hip set in poser or Star set in DAZ the figures seem to move around quite well no matter what pose I applied or part of the body I dragged.
