This model of an imaginary Desert Temple was built in Bryce from Bryce native primitives and as such is unsuitable for any other software.
Set in it's own desert terrain the temple rises on it's multiple levelled terraces with majestic steps and ornamental walls, fences and pillars. It incorporates a 3 sided columned cloister, 4 outer watchtowers and the main inner building which itself is four annexes and a main central domed hall with four high rising towers topped by metal ribbed domes.
Inside the temple there are 5 lights which can be switched on in the light lab to make a glow from the windows in night time renders.
There are 7 camera positions ready set up in the camera memory dots to give good ready made views and 5 sky/atmosphere settings in the sky memory dots. These include several times of day with different coloured skies and one night time starry sky.
The temple is made from hundreds of components but I've grouped them into colour families so selecting each material zone is simple for editing the building materials. Of course you can also directly select each component if you wish to make alterations finer than the ones I've designated.
The materials are all optimised for True Ambience rendering and also utilise IBL from an HDRI I made from the Bryce sky. (my render setting should be embedded into the file) and each view takes about 1 hour to render as I have set them up.
This is a single Bryce 7 file and will not work in other 3D applications... Have fun. « Less
There are some programs out there that I've seen which claim to be able to convert these but I've never tried them.
Still this a very nice model more …
