this the dress, made into a conforming figure with body handles to control the skirt. The skirt has 17 separate handles to control the hem.Little dragon fixed a few problems, so all 17 actually work now, also, it doesn't have any un-needed stuff lying around the cr2 anymore.
In all likelihood, you'll need to use magnets/deformers to make the skirt look right for some poses. That said, this was the best way I could figure out how to bone this thing, because poser will not weld side-by-side groups.I probably could have added a little more control for the knee-type areas of the skirt however, that would have required another 17 handles, which didn't seem like a particularly good idea. It is modelled to fall from the body, not around the legs, so that it didn't have weird modelled in bumps. That said, magnets can easily put those bumps in if needed.
Little dragon did something to the handles, so they magically disappear when you render, which is pretty awesome. It means you don't need to stuff around making them all invisible before you render. Before you render, you have little green cubes everywhere
Just a note, you don't actually drag the handles, you use them to make selection easier and use the dials.
Also, since this is not like a normal skirt (as in, it falls from multiple body parts while a human skirt would fall from only one) the bending is a little (ok, a lot) strange around where the different bits connect, wheras a human-style skirt wouldn't do this. This is because the falloff zones do not spill over into other body parts other than those of the direct parent of the body part (that is, if the handle for the front of the torso is the child of 'torso' it can't effect anything morethan the handle and the torso). It can't be done as one part, because of certain limitations in the rigging system.
Feel free to pull the .obj from this to use as a base for other conforming chakat clothing- the groups are already in, all you need to do is cut off the extra bits, add any new polys you make to an existing group, then whack the skeleton back in.
I know there's problems with it, getting angry at me for them will have no effect other than making me sulky, and a sulking person is not a productive one :D

I've been looking for clothes / styles / inspiration for my WIP, 'Princess Pea', a cute alien bug-girl with a BIG bee-butt. She'd need a high-waisted neo-Victorian 'cage bustle' to offload fabric weight...
Then, from my P4 days (!!), I remembered Chakat, came looking...
